A rare 1930s Art Deco rhinestone jewel in superb condition has been secured to a small, unobtrusive silver-plated hair comb (designed to be hidden in the hair). The oval vintage piece, which originally would have been attached to a hat or dress, measures approx. 8cm wide by 5cm high.

The comb would be suitable for tucking into a bun and although the piece is quite heavy, it has loops either side where it would have once been sewn to a hat or dress, so these can be used to pin the piece to your hair for extra security.
