How Do I Order?

Ordering from Lily Millicent is easy - browse through the online shop and once you've made your decision, simply add the item(s) to your cart.  You will be directed to the payment page. Payment is made with Paypal and is instant. You will need a Paypal account, however this is quick and easy to set up - just follow the instructions on the page.

Lily Millicent also welcomes payment by cheque - just send us an e-mail through the Contact Us page, stating the name of the item(s) and quantity you would like to order. We will send back confirmation of where to send the cheque and your item will then be reserved for you for a maximum of 3 working days - please ensure the cheque is sent to arrive within this time. Once your cheque payment has cleared (please allow 5 - 7 working days), the item will be despatched as normal.

For payment of bespoke items, please contact us first for a quote. Should you wish to proceed, we will require a 50% deposit to order materials and begin the project. Once completed, detailed photographs will be sent to your chosen e-mail address for approval. After approval, the balance will need to be paid in full, before we can despatch.

How Much is Postage & Packing?

£5.00 per item is our standard P&P charge. Smaller items such as hair pins are £3.00. Spend over £150 and delivery is free!

How Soon Will My Item(s) Arrive?

All items will be sent with Royal Mail on a signed for service.

Ready made items will be despatched straight away and should arrive within 5 - 7 working days (UK).

For made to order and bespoke items, please allow 3 - 6 weeks (UK). In busy periods or when sourcing of unusual materials is needed, this may be longer (we will always keep you informed if this is the case). Lily Millicent will give an estimated leadtime at the inital quotation stage for all bespoke orders.

If you have a rush order, please let us know - Lily Millicent will always try to accommodate these where possible.

Can I Return My Item if I'm Not Happy?

All ready made items can be returned within 7 working days in original packaging and unused condition for a full refund, minus the postage and packaging charge.

All made to order and bespoke items unfortunately cannot be returned or refunded.

In the unlikely event that your item is damaged or faulty upon arrival, please contact us within 24 hours to let us know.

Why Are There Items Showing In The Gallery Which Aren't Available in the Shop?

The gallery page acts as a showcase for items past and present. Some items will be sold and cannot be purchased however if you like something you see, please  do let us know - it may be possible to design a similar item.

Can Lily Millicent Convert a Piece of Jewellery of my Choosing into a Hair Accessory?

If you would like to wear a sentimental piece of jewellery in your hair, for example your Grandma's brooch on your wedding day, Lily Millicent may be able to convert it into a hair accessory for you. Many items are easily convertable however please contact us in the first instance with all the details and we will let you know if it is possible (sending a picture or two may help) and will provide a quote.

Can Children Wear Lily Millicent Pieces?

Lily Millicent does not recommend that children wear its pieces as they contain many small parts.
